During the Monday morning broadcast of Morning Joe, host Joe Scarborough delivered a monologue where he specifically blamed the protests over the Michael Brown and Eric Garner deaths for the shooting deaths of two NYPD officers.
Call the shooting the start of a revolution, “taking our country back,” watering the tree of liberty, 2nd Amendment remedies, armed and dangerous, or any number of the GOP’s favorite Obama-era slogans from the right-wing propaganda machine, but call it what it really is; a product of Republican and teabagger anti-government white supremacist rhetoric.
Well, that sure didn’t take long. Alex Jones, crazy right-wing conspiracy theorist and con artist, took to his radio show on Monday to claim that the Las Vegas shooting that took place on Sunday was a false flag operation to turn public sentiment against the so-called patriot movement.
