The White House Press Pool should boycott if they have an ounce of self respect. However, I doubt they will. The Corporate owners of their newsrooms would fire them for not doing their jobs. I do not watch, listen to, or read corporate news regarding politics and trump. They skew the news so that he looks believable. They have done so since before the 2014 election. If I want to know something about anything unrelated to politics, such as the shooting at Florida State University, I tune in on my phone to free streaming from ABC News. Otherwise, I stick to Substack. I want the truth, not skewed reporting so that the legacy news won’t be sued.

What is this "White House Press Pool" of which you speak? Do you mean the collection of fifth-rate otherwise-unemployable talentless stenographers who think they are of some value?

BOYCOTT! He's already disallowing truthful media from access so what does it matter?

What they should do is quit covering him whatsoever as he loves to be in the news.

“Outlets are understandably reluctant to cede ground” and this is why there is no correct answer. Damned if you do, and like that. I hope they have better ideas than I, at the moment I can’t see a way. One thought might be to consider access to be a suicide mission, one at a time, get in and ask the questions. I do so love watching KKKaroline squirm and bully with that act of hers.

There’s nothing else to do but boycott. That C KL is the worst lying propagandist anyway, so utterly STOP reporting what she vomits everyday. We’ll find it the real news here on Substack.

Trump would freak out if the entire corps refused to show up. Fox, OAN and a few others would show, but if the bulk of journalists imbued with integrity didn't show Trump would have no choice but to include the Associated Press and others. There is NO SCENARIO in which Donald would eschew the daily spotlight on his biggest sycophant : Karoline Leavitt.

They should end this circus that the felon wants to perform in front of. He has made a disgusting mess of the Oval Office which was always a place of honor for our president. Now it’s a daily performance spot capped off by cheap “gold” ornaments everywhere that make it look like Russia or a five-and-ten-cent store from the old days. What a disgusting mess and the press pool makes it a hundred times worse by hanging on his every word and yelling for attention. It’s a disgrace!

No loss to me, as I turned them all off in 1995 because I was tired of being lied to. I don't watch Congressional hearings for the same reason.

I think they're damned if they do, and they're damned if they don't. Whatever they decide, it should be a united effort. Some boycotting and some attending would have no affect. If they decide to stand up to the bully, they need to be prepared to be thrown out. So whatever they say that gets them thrown out, it had better be fully packed.

The public can take care of the corporate media who choose to fire reporters who stand up for their profession and for truth. MSNBC is already feeling the pain of some of their hysterical firings. ABC, NBC and CBS have held the nation's top spotlight long enough. People need to be listening to the news on PBS before orange face figures a way to shut it down.

Be disruptive like the kids at the back of the classroom: talk among yourselves, laugh out loud at the obvious lies. After all, it is circus. Revel in it.

I understand the issue. Yes, definitely a catch 22 situation. The uniqueness of Trump means that there is always ammunition for whatever he speaks about in his statements. I can understand the frustration of those legitimate journalist. However, that lying, son of a bitch, who you can’t stand to even be around or hear what he has to say, always provides gold. I’m not even sure I wanna give you a conclusion to the issue that has been raised. But, I think you can see where I’m leaning.
