Believe it or not, most people really do hold opinions that are just substantiated by what they see and hear. They're commonly known as "audience" and even (in my case) sustaining members. I still support the stations that I listen to (even though Garrison Keillor met my 12 year old daughter, acknowledged her presence in the audience last week, and then and then told a really obscene and lewd story about writing a sonnet to his wife on her birthday - so disgusting that we had to leave).
Bias? Just listen to adjectives in many stories. I don't have the numbers at hand, but how many times have you heard stories about "false" claims, or "outright lies" without backup or "evidence"?
See I'm not a journalist who claims to be unbiased or whose main job is to dig for, sift, and present facts. Like Joe Friday. I don't even claim to be "fair and balanced", to use the tagline for another news organization (which doesn't get government funding).

The average citizen/worker in the US does NOT want all the proposed cuts. Whether it be Medicaid, Social Security, the VA or public news services like NPR. It's past time that the Republicans in leadership listen to their constituents and stop this madness.
NPR has never taken sides per se. They tend to report FACTS. That annoys the GOP MAGAs because they trade in snake oil. Certainly Fox is politically biased and bloated with non-facts or untruths or lies or obfuscations and exaggerations and prevarications, however you want to name it. Defund Fox. And OAN.
I listen to NPR daily I see nothing that slants its views one way or the other Trump is a damn idiot he can’t control them it pisses him off they don’t bend for the fat slob. California should keep all our Fed tax money as we are the 5th largest economy in world so we can help our citizens out screw red states then we hold up 8 states per Economist stated Trump playing games with our lives, healthcare Medicare and Social Security. Also at 70 I applied at a local McDonald’s here in Not Ca to Clean, Mop, or do dishes or whatever told him I could work nights, weekends, Holidays, I don’t call in my work ethic is very good.

GM said to him before I was interviewed?
Last time I looked it’s against the law to discriminate against older, disabled or race. I was upset I know damn well I could do the job. It’s so funny the teenager he hires are on their phone some work I most don’t I see them doing Tik Toks at at $20 per hr. I know he likes to hire young kids because the ask no questions but they call in a lot. A friend I worked with years ago said I should apply it took a lot for me to do it I could use the money but a lot was I need to stay busy after my Daughter past away it’s been lonely my grandkids are so busy. I just wanted to stay active earn a little extra so it wasn’t so tight on Social Security. Not sure what to do here this GM isn’t the smartest tool in tool box. When I told him what my last job was he was taken back a bit it’s odd I was General Manager of Golf Resort for 18yrs my degree in Computer Engineering back then I wrote programs then came Bill Gates lol so I adjusted a bit. Point here I have the District Manager # Thought about calling him he’s nice guy knows his job running 19 McDonalds any thoughts? Or am I just being too sensitive about it. I do know a lot the young people either by parents or helping out when GM isn’t there when a school bus shows up they’re always short staffed. It’s a small town.

I would think "fair and balanced" is a good description of what NPR and PBS present on a daily basis. It's the only source I listen to these days.
