It is a perfect time for the Dems to be having press conferences outlining Trumps disaster month in order to help the approval numbers drop even faster

Agreed!! They should hire their own press secretary to represent themselves and be dedicated to spreading the truth.

That is they absolutely must do. We’ll see if they have the spine to do it. If not, I don’t know what to tell ya. 🤷‍♂️

Press conferences? They do not do shit, and that is so out of 1976. Why the fuck do we need these? You can see Putin pissing in the sink in Russia 5 minutes after it happens

But not too late to join us in the fight for democracy. I welcome them with 👏👍😀💙 and a hearty “welcome aboard.” I’m pretty certain they have already self punished better than our hateful blaming and “told ya so” indignation ever could.

I had suffered enough for this term last term. And not a damned thing changed for all of that. So, I have displayed a black rectangular flag on my front porch, and that is the sum total of my umbrage. Hunger turns red into blue. We need more of it.

No need to punish those finally waking up and realizing how they’ve betrayed our country. Allow them to devour their huge meals of crow because of the devastating mistake they’ve made. Then invite them to fight to undo the damage they’ve caused.

What is important at this point in time, the screaming need to shout “I told you so”, that we’re all wanting to do or winning our democracy and our country back? I ask you to overcome that desire and welcome all the help we can get. I do believe it will take we the people to win this war.

Can’t wait for his voters to feel the sting of his cuts and incompetence. I only wish we could limit the pain to his voters, but that’s not possible. The only way to get through this is to go through it. God help us all.

What happens with Trump’s disapproval/approval ratings is largely irrelevant when Trump has just called himself king today. He’s gone crazy with power and the dementia that has taken control of his reasoning ability ( if he ever had any). Are there any checks left on his powers or is the great democratic experiment called America largely over. Where is the outrage?

DEMOCRATS IN CONGRESS: CREATE A MENTAL HEALTH REVIEW BOARD TO EVALUATE TRUMP’S MENTAL HEALTH

---------------------

The 25th Amendment outlines procedures for the transfer of presidential powers. Trump is unable to perform duties due to MENTAL incapacity. Violating the U.S. Constitution is not one of his duties outlined in Article II of the U.S. Constitution and further shaped by tradition and federal law.

---------------------

Dr. Bandy X. Lee, a forensic psychiatrist and editor of The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump, has long expressed concerns about Donald Trump's mental health, particularly regarding his detachment from reality and potential danger to public safety. In her analyses, Dr. Lee suggests that Trump's behavior may reflect a form of "shared psychosis," where his delusional beliefs and grandiosity influence his supporters, leading to a collective detachment from reality.

---------------------

Trump's recent self-declaration as a "king" exemplifies the grandiose self-image that Dr. Lee and other mental health professionals have warned about. Such proclamations not only indicate a distorted self-perception but also pose significant risks to democratic institutions and societal norms. Dr. Lee emphasizes that when a leader exhibits signs of mental instability, it can have a profound impact on the nation's mental health and governance structures.

---------------------

In summary, from Dr. Lee's perspective, Trump's self-identification as a "king" underscores deep-seated psychological issues that endanger both individual well-being and the foundational principles of democracy.

The problem is Vance is VP. Also, even if POS is proven to have a mental breakdown, like screaming, foaming at the mouth, etc., in full view of the world, his Project 2025 Cabinet will just prop him up and say "nothing to see here, folks).

Trump’s mental illness is a profound and immediate threat to the United States. His delusional detachment from reality, grandiose self-perception, impulsive recklessness, and ability to induce shared psychosis present an unparalleled danger to democratic institutions and national stability.

While J.D. Vance may pursue policies many find objectionable, he does not exhibit the same psychiatric impairments. His capacity to distinguish reality from fantasy, regulate his emotions, and adhere to legal norms makes him far less dangerous than a psychologically unstable Trump. In short, a mentally stable extremist is less of an existential threat than a delusional authoritarian with no tether to reality.

Vance is a monster in sheep's clothing. He is a sociopath with zero qualms about lying to get whatever he wants worse than Trump. Atleast Trump is a narcissist that can be flattered. Vance will be a dictator and completely unleash P25 and Christian nationalism on this country. He proudly supports that he is absolutely against women and girls in this country - from supporting travel bans, to registries, to removal of the right to vote. No - the whole regime has got to go.

It was all there in the pre-election public comments and, oddly enough, in the published Project 2025 document.

The surprise factor was Musk's unbridled zest for breaking the government, and the willingness of the GOP hacks who were put into key positions to let it happen. Blood on all of their hands.

Now I understand why he and Musk are rushing through all the Project 2025 items. So by the time the public really get wind of how bad things are going to get, trying to take him to court will be fruitless, as most of the DOJ attorneys who represented him in all his recent trials. They will either stonewall to get him through until his presidency is up. I am 77 years old, and in my life I have never experienced anything this bad. And I thought Richard Nixon was bad!

Low ratings is going to hurt trump's fee-fees. If he would stop being Putin's puppet, throw Musk out of the WH, restore the federal government to what it was before Musk and his teens got their grubby little hands on it, and enacted policies that American like (which happen to be Democratic policies), his ratings would go through the roof. Unfortunately he is too cowardly and too stupid to do any of that.
