I think Trump has been a figurehead from before Day 1. He is the Mob Boss trying to take care of his Enforcer, Elon Musk, the multi-multi billionaire. Cannot afford to lose his $$$, so he will go the extra, extra mile for him. I think the real power behind the throne is Russell Vought, the billionaire economist head of OMB. He was the main brain behind Project 2025, and had big help from the sweeties who are now in the Cabinet. They feed Trump his lines, and he does the best he can, but keeps it brief--depending on his charisma and strong delivery to get him through. I imagine these dudes are secretly going crazy about Elon and his juvvies; however, they must tread carefully. At some point, the shit will definitely "hit the fan." I hope sooner rather than later.
