This is an emergency. Trump needs to be impeached, and Elon Musk needs to be jailed. They are breaking the law every day and they need to be held accountable. Only proper way to hold them accountable under our constitution is to impeach Trump. As far as Elon Musk, he just needs to be put in prison.

I agree with the sentiment. But let's get real, Rs are never going to do it. They barely did it the last time.

Well, in fact, they DID NOT DO IT THE LAST TIME. Yes, the House voted to impeach, twice. But the Senate voted not to convict, twice! Shameful.

The question was about impeachment. :-) Not conviction. This House would never impeach.

True, unfortunately.

That was the old turtle McConnell. Hope every day he has left on this earth are filled with shame and remorse the way he sold out America!

But there is something to say of creating the paperwork and announcing it to the American people. Remind them of law and order and how the two put themselves above the law.

The entire cabinet, the maggots in the House, the Senate, the Judiciary need to be impeached en mass with their 🍊💩and his VP and pet billionaire and sent to Guantanamo Bay for about two generations. This time fix the wording in the constitution so that it reads clear as day that this shall never have an opportunity to happen ever again. Then fix what needs fixing. No more billionaires, free education, healthcare, childcare, and an immigration system that actually works. Just stop all the stupid mean nasty hateful bullshit. And the next aspiring dick tater king wannabe is to be shot on sight. No questions asked.

Unfortunately Governments made this monster and globally made us depend on this ketomine junkie. The U.S. government, including various federal agencies like the Defense and Commerce departments, is exploring and using Starlink, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) may soon switch to Starlink for telecommunications, particularly in remote areas like Alaska. Musk knows this. So he won't go to jail unless of course, we commandeer his companies. Which we can because he is communicating with Putin and other working in sanctioned countries. He's a whore and a traitor who will do anything for money.

Dems do not play nice and reach across the aisle. You are in a bare knuckle fight for the country. No compromise.

Expand full comment

And dems, don’t vote yes on republicans’ continuing resolution to keep the government open. They caused this shitshow, they need to own it now and a government shutdown is better than a government cutting jobs, critical programs, devastating the environment and wreaking mayhem on the people

I agree with the Democrats. I am tired of Democrats saving Republicans from their destructive politics and the getting trashed by voters etc. Let the Republicans own their terrible policies where voters can see it.

Shut it down until Musk leaves. Then insist that Republicans work on a joint budget or nothing moves forward.

It is only the Republicans who are addicted to Trump’s cult of personality. “Because Trump wants it” is by far the poorest reason to vote for anything.

About time Dems are getting a spine

Get that lunatic out of washington and the USA. Send him back to South Africa today. He hates the USA and is trying to destroy it.

In other words, Democrats, please do not give an inch to these SOB’s

I agree! Time to put your foot down! No Musk!!

Dems need to get tough and stay tough. No more playing nice or making accommodations. It’s their job to do right by the American people, not make nice with the traitorous Republicans. If Dems finally show some grit, they gave a better chance of persuading some Republicans to do the right thing.

Musk needs to be stopped immediately and sent packing. Not one American voted for Musk or the agenda that Trump is forcing on a mentally fatigued Nation.

Trump, Vance and Johnson need to be impeached while taking Musk’s citizenship, federal contracts and assets before he sending him back to South Africa.

Could we say Drumpf is committing Dereliction of Duty, by letting Muskrat be president?

Democrats need to start stepping up and not caving to the republicans . If the government gets shut down it is on them NOT the democrats. But if they cave and save the republicans by letting them get a cr that gives them anything then they are guilty of not protecting the constitution that they took an oath to protect.

And Dems need to shout loudly to the world, it is the Republicans that did it.

SHUT IT DOWN.

Unless there are irrevocable guarantees that stop the overreach of the Trump White House and his henchman Elon, then SHUT IT Down.

Republicans are trying to strip average Americans of life saving benefits- MAKE THEM OWN IT

I don’t think there’s such a thing as an irrevocable agreement
