Senate Democrats are vowing to hold the line, and not agree to a budget or government funding unless Republicans agree to restrictions on Trump's power.

I wish Chuck Schumer had been more specific, and actually drawn a line in the sand. Not many words would have been needed for that. I dearly hope Dems will agree not to vote for any Republican legislation--period--until they come to their senses, and they must not vote to increase tax cuts for the wealthy. Either Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren would be better spokespeople. They know how to "put the pedal to the metal."
Thump and his co-president Mush, and the Republican House and Senate are weakening this country to a degree that will make it impossible to defend itself if it were to be attacked. This alone is very scary. So if we default on the debt we can't be in worse position.

Scary news … Kash Patel was confirmed 51-47, with all Dems voting No (except Fetterman, who did not vote). Collins (R-ME) was the only R to vote No.
Boozman (R-AR) also did not vote.
Sorry guys - my bad - that was the Cloture vote. The FINAL vote on Patel was 51-49. Collins and Murkowski joined all Dems in voting Nay.
