Approximately 80 million Americas are enrolled in Medicaid, this number isn't exact due to the pandemic. Many had to reenroll. My point is the Republicans would throw these people out into the cold as long as the rich get their tax cut. This is so unbelievable, the Republicans are Monsters and care only about following trump. This is their beginning of the end for their careers. 80 million Americans, do not let them get away with this. Do not fear them, fight them. Fight them with words, stand up to them.

Young Kim (R) represents my SoCal district. She has already sent out an email explaining her vote and promising not to vote for any bill that includes cuts to Medicaid. She must think the people in her district are stupid and naive if she thinks we are going to believe her. She was a trumper from day 1.

They are the stupid ones - we are all paying attention, thanks to DOGE, so aren't fooled.

Expose her!

I hope the hell they believe in messes with their sleep at night. Destroying the people on Medicaid to fill the pockets of millionaires and billionaires goes against their “Christian Values🐍

Republicans still can’t read the room and they will own this in 2026

It’s weird, they’re afraid of standing up to FOTUS because they’re afraid of losing their seat. Now they’ve pissed off every single American and they will lose their seats in the next election (if there is one, of course). They should have done the right thing in the first place and told FOTUS to f*** off.

Johnson and other Republicans flout their Christianity??? FAKE CHRISTIANS besides having no morals or ethics. Greedy greedy and cowering to FELON47. He is not a dictator or king!!!!

They're all going to lose their seats anyway because again, with the Felon and Musk assuming the powers that belonged to them - the legislative branch and bringing them into the executive branch by disregarding bills they passed, funding they voted for, etc.- what the heck does America need with a Congress? They, like so many federal workers are slowly and, in many cases, swiftly being made redundant. And they don't see it.

Totally agree!!!

What else could we possibly have expected

Expand full comment

They are so spineless so there is no expectation

Expand full comment

It’s not that they don’t have a spine or a ball sack, it’s they don’t even care!

Expand full comment

The GOP has no backbone!!! Spineless backbone little wimps!!! Scared of FOTUS! They should be afraid of the American people!

Expand full comment

Are we still thinking there’s a way to have fair elections next year?

Expand full comment

If we are able to even vote!

Expand full comment

We will vote!!!

Expand full comment

Yes we will vote! Be at the ballot box, shutting the country down or with a well-organized militia. Either way the Constitution will be amended to eliminate the possibility of this ever happening again.

FYI: Medicaid recipients describe the potential loss of coverage as “devastating.” For many disabled individuals, losing Medicaid would mean losing access to necessary medications, doctor visits, and specialized care. I know. I am one.

Expand full comment

Can’t? More like “won’t read the room.” 2026 needs to be a shellacking of 2010 proportions. And that should include red state legislators and governors in that bloodbath.

If there are elections.

They canceled the vote and then recalled it because Trump got on the phone and threatened to primary everybody that didn't vote in line with elon's money. Our president is turning this country into his shit hole country

Expand full comment

Eric .. you nailed it. POTUS just grabs the phone … threatens .. and they cave. Again. Just like clockwork! Who cares about being primaried when an angry electorate will throw them to the wolves in November 2026?

FOTUS threatens and the GOP caves like little wimps and pussy cats!! So sick of the GOP!! The Repuglikkkans USED to be honorable!!!

Yes, and it shows.

They own it. It’s out there for everybody to see. Democrats, republicans, especially red states who benefit the most from Medicaid.

Greed from these inhumane assholes is unbelievable! How can they live with themselves or look into the eyes of their own kids!

It's easy because they probably have $Mn's in their campaign contributions fund that they will take into retirement tax-free. They aren't worried about retirement.

Agreed!!!!

They are going to get inundated with comments from their own constituents. You cannot take away people’s healthcare with an email. Everybody in a Red State needs to make sure you rattle them with a phone call now and from today on. Make them miserable.

‘Why are you taking my healthcare away to pay for another tax cut for the rich?’

You saw what they did to the lady in Idaho right? That’s what they want is us to be afraid! Wecan not be afraid.

I live in CA, but I still called Pete Aguilar and said he cannot take Medicaid away from people that need it, vote no. I talked to a real person who said they are taking ‘tick marks’ from constituents about these things.

Whatever $ they think they are saving on this... is being spent to the tune of millions a day so Trump can play golf and hang out in his expensive retreat. Are they ALL so stupid? Or so afraid?

I am ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED! My family knew (too late) that a neighbor and her children starved to death during the Great Depression in the 1930s. Had they known, they would have shared the little they had. Is this what the gop want? People too ill, too exhausted, careworn, without the money to pay their heat bills or rent, no food assistance, and winter here. Send the gop packing. WE WILL REMEMBER. VOTE DEMOCRATICALLY in 2026, 2028, 2030, 2032. We need liberal and mainstream SCOTUS. VOTE.
