I hope against hope that Dems have the courage of their convictions and will vote "no!" Since it is probable that Trump and his cabal will defy courts, mass organizing and protests may be required for all of us. I already belong to Indivisible, and have been jamming congressional switchboards with calls. However, I am 85 years old, with physical limitations, so am unable to be out in the streets. I would if I could--and urge all sentient able-bodied people to show up!

Thank you Kate for speaking out. I am.

A bit younger at seventy eight, But I also have many physical limitations. I would love to join a March. Not only can't I march, but there is no such thing where I live in Florida. This is trump land. This town is so red, it is like it is bleeding.

78 here also living in remote WA state and currently unable to travel. Signing postcards to go to Wisconsin for the court battle that's going on. Signing online petitions DAILY. Feels like I'm doing what can. Oh and trying not to be angry all the time..

I have a friend in Florida who also cannot March. But she did find an indivisible group. If you can join indivisible I think it will help you in many ways. I get an emotional support from listening and doing what I can. Currently calling elected officials and writing post cards.

Boy do I understand that. We moved from the blood red first district (FL) to a blood red district in Texas. We are elderly and rely on our daughters for help getting medical stuff done or otherwise would consider leaving the country!

Kate, who are you calling? I want in on it. It’s a shame we elders have to be the ones trying to save this country. But we are the only ones that remember what we were like before the fifties, sixties and seventies. We had come so far to have these troglodytes wipe it away!
