Releasing a report that would interfere with “the sensitive nature of the ongoing transition process” is not to be tolerated but sending an angry, violent crowd to stop the certification of the 2020 election certification was allowable.

Donald Trump's lawyers conveniently ignore that their client is a convicted felon with 34 pending indictments against him.

In June 2023 democrats introduced a bill that if a president is convicted of a felony he would lose his pension. Whatever happened with that?

If you look up the HR #, you can find out, but the Republicans controlled the House of Representatives and they probably did not let the bill come to a vote. Remember that there were something like 147 election deniers including the current Speaker of the House who are election deniers. Every single one of them should have been run out of the House and that might have played hell with the future Republican majority.
