I think, just my opinion, that in this case, Occam's Razor applies. I think you're afraid to be blunt, months, years ago I thought you were always right on target. Idk, maybe the threat of pressure by Trump's thugs is affecting you? I ALWAYS thought politicus.com was sharp and on top of the truth, never backing away from the obvious. No insult intended, I am worried about everything these days.

There is no pressure on us from anyone, but I do feel a responsibility to let Joy Reid tell HER story her own way. I feel that she is the only one who can adequately and fully say what happened. It is far from obvious what happened. Just like when other MSNBC people have left the network, there is usually more to it than the obvious answer. Plus, Trump is a pathological liar, and there is nothing that he says that should be believed. He could easily be hopping on the Reid situation to exploit for his own means. Joy Reid has a history of conflict with her bosses at MSNBC, so I am not going to attach an opinion that might be totally wrong and twist a narrative because of some people's opinions. I think framing Reid's firing especially as a race issue as Trump did is really unfair to her and har career, and I won't do that. I can assure you that we are committed to telling all stories truthfully, but just because in your opinion something is obvious, doesn't make it a fact. ---Jason
