Granting private individuals, especially those loyal to Trump, rather than the government, access to federal computer systems to control critical information and financial operations bypassing legal and constitutional processes is a modern day coup. These actions undermine democratic governance, and give unchecked power to unelected individuals.

Trump and Musk are overrideling governmental controls and centralizing power outside of constitutional authority. Therefore, these actions fit the definition of a coup in our digital age. What is happening, Musk and Trump taking control over U.S. government systems, is as powerful as taking control over military forces.
Totally agree -- a coup indeed. Why they are not both being arrested for treason is beyond me ... but then, Trump has already installed his cronies in all the right positions and the Republicans are too busy grovelling in front of him to stand up and protect the US --- doesn't look good.
Also, I do wonder what Musk is selling to China and Russia - he is pretty chummy with Putin, and I am sure that both Russia and China would be more than willing to give "a little something" for all the info he now has access to ...... or perhaps provide a way for them to "access" the system? Musk has no loyalty to anyone but himself ..... well, maybe to the neo-Nazis, but that's a subject for another post .......
