Let’s hope the polls showing him ahead actually mean he could pull it off. Bernie is awesome for democracy!

Today I decided to text Bernie's "Politicus" site the following: "I'm not "a believer" in any way having been born (1945))to a very, very progressive set of Parents. BUT....TODAY I Pray for Our Victory. Nothing is more important to me. Adding up each parents years of working hard for the America we desperately want to be see (60 adult years of work per each=120) me and my Sister's already 124 adult years = 244 years of political activism. Now just for the hell of it ,I will offer a Prayer. Maybe that will tip the balance toward our vision. amen. EP

Nice you guys like Bernie Sanders now that he is a lapdog of the Democratic Party. It's not that way when he tells the truth about Democrats like Hillary Clinton or Biden, but now that he is leading people to their demise back into one of our two corporate mafias you love him so.

Hey Barry, Sarah here. You obviously weren't reading Jason in 2016. Politicus was actually referred to as supporting Sanders over Clinton in multiple outlets because of his coverage.

Jason has been writing about Bernie Sanders since he was a Representative.

You can disagree with us without impugning our motives, which is a cheap shot and especially when you are not adequately informed about our history and values.

Barry, Barry, Barry, I suggest you search my name under the DNC emails from 2016, and see what the DNC thinks of me. Point #2 is that this is not new. I have been covering Bernie Sanders since he was a back-bencher congressman from Vermont who was called the left's Ron Paul by the mainstream media. As a professional, I cover all areas of politics. I know more about the progressive 435 district/50 state strategy and the philosophy behind it than many people. My academic specialization in grassroots movements means that I have a lot of enthusiasm and understand the power of grassroots organization, whether it comes from Democrats or progressives. I am not in a camp. I support democracy. I've been writing for different publications as a professional for 21 years. I try to write about Sanders and other popular movements so people who are new to them can understand. That doesn't mean that I am new to it, but that I understand many other people are and I want to provide knowledge where I can. Barry's comment is an example of what happens when people make an assumption instead of understanding what they are discussing in detail.--Jason

I have deep respect for Bernie. He is no lapdog. He is out there leading rallies against oligarchy. He’s in his 80s and putting the country above concerns for his own health.

Agree, Bernie is no one's lapdog. Like him or not, he does not waver from his core values. I'd add that he shared many of those values with Biden, which is why they get along so well. When someone pushes policies that agree with your values, it is not being a lapdog to support them. - Sarah

This is MAGA tactics. Pointleslsly insulting people about (inaccurate!) past positions.

Sen. Sanders is not and never will be a 'lapdog'! You, however, have absolutely nothing positive to offer.
