The first stop in the Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) fighting oligarchy town hall tour was forced to move to a bigger venue due to a larger than expected audience.
That’s what they want you to think, but large numbers at these events can’t be ignored by much of mainstream media. Fox will ignore it for sure, and people might start to look elsewhere. It’s important for change to happen that people start looking at media that they haven’t before. To get people off Fox and onto other media sites, including online (non-far right) could be considered as the start of reality education.
Today there were protests all over the country and Main Stream media ignored it.
Pandemics are going to take out a large portion of our population as well as things we need to live and mainstream media will ignore it.
Democrats aren’t doing anything to stop this.
None of our institutions are going to stop this.
Our constitution is not going to stop this.
I’d like to see one productive suggestion that might have some impact. To date I’ve seen none.
Gathering to hear Bernie Sanders speak does not have any impact.
Protesting does not have any impact.
Our Supreme Court is hijacked by Trump and he even admitted it on camera during the state of the union address. Check the footage when Trump shakes the hand of our chief justice.
Even James Carville suggested that we do nothing and hope that Trump and his ilk sink themselves.
There’s a C-SPAN clip of Trump admitting that the 2024 election was rigged and that’s why he won. Nobody’s going to do anything about that either.
There are plenty of Democrats fighting. The problem is that the corporate owned media, and the sites on the left that are more interested in producing Trump outrage clickbait don't cover them.----Jason
I agree about the corporate media, Jason; however, not many Dems have the necessary passion, energy and are as articulate as Bernie. He, Elizabeth Warren in the Senate--Jamie Raskin, AOC, Jasmine Crockett and a few others in the House can set their audiences on fire. Most others mean well, but do not have that ability.
They do need to have a great message. The passion and energy don't play well for everyone. Different people respond to different things. Calm and sensible can be very effective in purple states and more conservative places. For example, Sen. Jon Ossoff delivers the message differently than the progressive firebrands, and he is very effective in Georgia. It is definitely not one size fits all. To me, unity of message is more important than universal delivery. ---Jason
I live in Georgia, Jason, and I agree with you about Jon Ossoff; however when he speaks in Georgia he comes on strong, but he always stays on point. Gotta say, Chuck Schumer makes me nod off. He just doesn't have the mo jo to be an effective speaker. Plus, like me, he is old! BTW, I am sure you know that MTG is planning to run against Ossoff. Can't wait. Indivisible will have our day with her!
I would love see GA and NE Florida get more attention from everyone. When I have been to Georgia, be it just in a very limited and brief way, I got the sense that there are things happening there. ---Jason
Well, that's not happening here, so we can all chill on that. Hitler also had the support of the people and didn't share power with billionaire oligarchs. Trump can't handle the price of eggs much less a government takeover.---Jason
Musk is the difference and the age of IT. He is taking over all our personal data. So don’t think he can’t reach you and blackmail you like all the republicans senators and congressmen. He released the prisoners
I would love for him to come to LA, but other places require his attention. People are starting to wake up!
Bernie you are wonderful is there a virtual option?
Our Democratic representatives in Office need to do everything they can possibly think of to hopefully stem this tide. It feels like we are doomed.
I would attend, in PA.
We are far from doomed. That is what Trump wants you to believe, so that you don't fight, or bother to show up to vote.----Jason
They commandeered the media, nothing we do will get broadcast on MSM. It just makes us feel like nothing is happening.
Rachael maddow will and Lawrence O'Donnell on msnbc
O'Donnell is much more reliable than Maddow. She is going away in a few months again.---Jason
What does that have to do w anything? She will always be on Mondays after the 100 days r done

Glad to see one of the Dems have a spine and willing to fight.

Go across the country - including New York City- maybe Central Park
This is a national tour, so Bernie is going coast to coast, but he does have to work around the Senate schedule.---Jason
I hope his tour comes to Ohio- I’ll definitely be there!
I would almost guarantee that he will be in Ohio. --Jason
Maine will have a rally on International Women’s Day, March 8 at noon on our State Capital grounds in Augusta, Maine
Go Bernie go!
Fight Trump, Plutocracy, Musk, Fascism
Keep the fight on Bernie!! You are the best politician out there!!!!
Keep up your good work for the majority of the population.
Thank you, Bernie!
Can’t wait til he comes to my town.
I wish I lived nearer your state!! I would definitely attend!!
Oh please come to NE Fl- Jacksonville,FL. Georgia/Florida are worth fighting for!
