Biden has done many things for Americans as a whole, not just the rich white ones. He's gotten very little praise and credit for how well he's done as President, NO THANKS to major media outlets like NYT and WaPo. I am hopeful that the costs for prescription drugs which were negotiated will continue to remain at their new prices.
A steadfast President and fine human being continues to fulfill his promised intentions. This is remarkable and inspiring in the midst of the degraded governance and public life that we know as Now.
Correct, millions have NO idea they have been hacked by bloated billionaires like tRump, social media, newspapers and tv news with false promises of snake oil cures.
Yes, there are pros and cons depending on which side you're on. But how is it possible to have better, less expensive healthcare in almost every other in the western world?
Medicare and percription and all costs associated with medical care of senior living in abject poverty, due to the incomprensible cost of the US military and recession which began in1981 should be free.
Other than the brief financial stability years, few and far between, accomplish when the democratics held power, hard working people have had to spend both partners pay checks to make house payments, pay taxes to the Federal and states with income taxes, twice the same money is taxed along with their checks having at least a third missing when they get paid, feeding and caring for the few children they believe they can afford, paying higher city and county property taxes every year when their income barely was increased and never increased to meet inflation, etc.... were never ever going to have extra money to save for retirement much less pay for medical expenses that are no longer free but can cost up to half the inadequate amount they recieve after they retire. There never any chance the working class would be able to put away money for retirerment. Medicare, percription drugs, hospital and medical care should be free for anyone who lives below the poverty level which is at least 65 percent of all senior citizens. The US has been in a financial free fall for so long that 2 entire generation have now grown up and continue to live in poverty. Go ahead and invade other countries to exploit them and make the rich richer while killing off young adults who jioned the military because they had no other options.
Now you idiots have voted for the biggest haterr of, anyone who cannot give him millones of dollars, and is even less capable of or willing to consider people who worked a lot harder than he ever has but are living in poverty. The president elect would prefer all poor people just die wether you voted for him or not, he hates you. Just wait. You can't sleep at night because you arcoutig te dysunti yo too ar homless and the guy you voted for will make sure you are homeless and unable to live any kind of decent life. You are lazy and stupid to him and expendable. Good job.
This only applies to certain medications that are covered by a particular Medicare plan. The crux of the issue is that so many medications are not covered and the insurers can decide what is covered and what is not. Watch the list of covered medications shrink once again in 2025.
President Biden is one of our best presidents. Had he won another term it would have been easier to regulate predatory capitalism. Now it's gonna be harder. We will continue to work it.
Regarding the price cap: For thos who it will benefit, it is a good thing. But it is important to place it in perspective. As of January 2025, the average Social Security payment is $1,976, so less than the amount some will have to pay annually; note that there will also be medications not covered. And finally the benefit impacts less than 20 percent of the US population.

Life changing for many Americans!

Bravo and thank you, President Biden! 🤟

Great! Thanks President Biden. It’s too bad trump will likely take credit for it.
Trump will most likely remove the progress that Biden has made.
I’m sure he’ll also take credit for infrastructure projects set into motion because of Pres. Biden.
I read, a while back, that Bernie talked about the money the government could save if we had a healthcare for all program. Here is a link:

The US model of Healthcare for profit is disgusting and immoral.
Fix it. a one -payer system is actually cheaper.
The 2000 cap on Rx costs is critical for many seniors. It makes higher egg prices laughable. I can choose to buy or not buy eggs, I need my meds.

Way to go Joe. I applaud your dedication to the American people. Thank you!
