A Trump supporter said that inflation didn’t impact him but made his wife’s life harder because she is the one holding down the job so he can travel the country going to Trump rallies.

When asked how inflation and higher prices have impacted his ability to travel the country to attend Trump rallies, the Trump supporter answered, “You know, its really affected my wife more than anything. She’s keeping the regular job, so when gas and everything goes up. My traveling around the country is really funded by five to ten dollar tips from people…so really it hasn’t affected me too much.”
A Trump supporter is basically making his wife carry the financial burden in his family so that he can follow Donald Trump around.
Trump supporters are no different than fans of a band who spend their summer following the tour instead of working. The only difference is that fans of The Dave Matthews Band or Dead and Friends didn’t mount an armed insurrection to overthrow the government and destroy democracy.
Maybe instead of forcing his wife to be the sole breadwinner, this guy could be a little less like Donald Trump and actually get a job.
This is the hypocrisy of Trump supporters who claim that illegal immigrants are stealing American jobs while they refuse to work.
