Trump Insists On Pretending To Be President Again By Holding Rallies In Front Of Fake Air Force One

He cannot help it. Trump believes that the more “rich” and “powerful” his entrance is, the more powerful he looks. Perhaps to his crowd, it is true, although it wouldn’t matter if it wasn’t. It is true for Trump, and that is what matters. Just like the President of the United States lands with the powerful and mighty symbolism of the United States’ Air Force One lands, Trump now has to do the best he can. It is literally called Trump Force One:

Yes, he looks rich and powerful, and the people in the crowd don’t know that the rebuild that the plane desperately needed was paid for by their $100 donations to his PAC, which is now a legitimate political expense, I guess. Ted Cruz complains that Trump isn’t spending any money helping MAGA candidates (or very little). Ted doesn’t understand Trump’s priorities.

Trump has always been into grand entrances to look wealthy, busy, and powerful. Bill Gates (Someone who actually is rich) told a story in 2018. Details recorded by The Hill back in 2018:

Gates can be heard telling an audience about his personal experiences with Trump, whom he said he met only after the real estate mogul won the 2016 election.

But Gates recalled that Trump spoke with the Microsoft CEO’s daughter Jennifer at an equestrian event in Florida, and was “super nice.”

“But then, twenty minutes later, he flew in in a helicopter to the same place, so clearly he had been driven away and he wanted to make a grand entrance in a helicopter,” Gates said in the clip.

Whatever one thinks of Bill Gates, he has used his money to do more good than Trump can even contemplate: “What’s in it for him?” Trump might say to Gates’s fight against malaria.

President Biden occasionally must land and speak in front of Air Force One (And so did Trump). If he is in a hurry, he can save a lot of Secret Service hassle by not blocking traffic to a convention center, and he may need the communications ability in Air Force One.

But if you made Joe Biden a regular citizen, like Barack Obama, try to imagine the amount of money that would have to go to charity to get them to do something similar. It is the difference between people that know they don’t need to make a fancy entrance to demonstrate who they are and the guy that… does.
