Dr. Oz is showing his true colors as the Pennsylvania U.S. Senate campaign ends, as his election night party will be hosted by a 1/6 insurrectionist.
The Fetterman campaign pointed out who is hosting Oz’s election night party in a statement provided to PoliticusUSA:
Dr. Oz is holding the Election Night party for his U.S. Senate campaign at a club whose owner is a top January 6th insurrectionist who, through his People4Trump PAC, “funded three buses that brought about 200 people from Bucks County to Washington D.C. on Jan. 6.” Worthington directly helped fuel the attack on American democracy — advertising that these insurrectionists would “proceed to the Capitol.”
Jim Worthington, who owns the Newtown Athletic Club where the Oz campaign will be gathering on Election Night, has repeatedly challenged the legitimacy of the 2020 election, saying the results were “corrupted” and needed to be challenged “legally or otherwise” and encouraged doubt about the 2022 election. Just this past week, Worthington introduced Oz at a campaign rally and openly questioned the integrity of the 2020 election in his opening remarks.
In less than 24 hours, Dr. Oz has rallied with Donald Trump and announced that an insurrectionist will be hosting his election night party.
Oz’s facade has been blown apart. He is no moderate who will work with both sides of the aisle for Pennsylvania. The entire Oz Senate campaign has been based on labeling John Fetterman an extremist, but Fetterman isn’t having his election night party hosted by insurrectionists.
The real danger to Pennsylvania and the United States is Mehmet Oz.
Oz has made it clear that he stands with Donald Trump and opposes democracy and freedom in Pennsylvania and the United States.
