John Fetterman Creates A Massive Problem For Oz With New Video

The John Fetterman campaign released a new video of Mehmet Oz saying that people are just as happy whether they make $50,000 or $50 million.

Video:

Oz says in the video, “Once you get about $40,000 of income, the value of money dramatically decreases in your life. And it’s very hard to discern significant differences in happiness in someone who’s making $50,000 and $50 million.”

The video then features the Republican Senate candidate discussing his lavish lifestyle.

Joe Calvello, Fetterman Campaign spokesperson, said, “How can anyone believe that Dr. Oz would fight for the people of Pennsylvania when he doesn’t think there is a difference between making $50,000 and making $50,000,000?This guy has zero comprehension of what day-to-day life looks like for the working people of Pennsylvania who are struggling to pay bills and afford groceries. News flash to Dr. Oz: not everyone has a $50 million mansion, spends their time hanging out on yachts, and wears custom-made Turkish suits. Just because you and your rich friends are doing so well doesn’t mean the rest of us are. Oz does not give a shit about the working people of Pennsylvania and does not have a clue what people are going through.”

The video is a big problem for Oz because it hammers home many of the doubts that Pennsylvania voters are having about him. If the perception of Oz takes hold with PA voters as an out-of-touch, out-of-state rich guy who doesn’t care about them, it will likely be too much for his campaign to come back from.

The Oz campaign has been able to mount much pushback or change the subject. Fetterman is the incumbent Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania but has been able to make the election all about Oz.

The Republican campaign is in real trouble, which is why national Republicans are already devising a strategy to try to win the Senate without Pennsylvania.

However, if Republicans lose Pennsylvania, it is likely that they will not control the US Senate.
