Cassidy Hutchinson’s Testimony Sets Ratings Record And Crushes Fox News

Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony set a daytime viewership record with 13 million viewers, while Fox News got crushed.

The LA Times reported:

More than 13 million Americans tuned in to watch bombshell testimony from a former White House aide this week, making the Jan. 6 committee’s latest hearing its second-most-viewed thus far.

The Tuesday afternoon hearing, which the committee announced just a day ahead of time, featured 25-year-old Cassidy Hutchinson, who served as an aide to former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. Her dramatic testimony attracted 13,231,000 viewers across all major networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and MSNBC, according to numbers from Nielsen, a ratings firm.

For the entire daytime of the hearing, Fox News averaged 1.7 million viewers.

Here are some of the television heavy hitters that Hutchinson outdrew:

Hutchinson’s testimony occurred on a weekday with one day of advance notice, and she drew more viewers than Monday Night Football.

Fox News made a massive mistake in not showing the hearings. Fox has not dampened the ratings with their blackout and has not gained any viewers by refusing to show the hearings.

Fox is keeping their own audience in the dark, but a whole lot of people are watching and hearing about these hearings.

Hutchinson did a massive amount of damage to Trump and his political future that Fox News can’t fix.
