Rep. Justin Amash (I-MI) told reporters that he is ready to vote for impeaching Trump on obstruction of justice, obstruction of Congress, and abuse of power.
CNN’s Manu Raju tweeted:
Michigan Rep. Justin Amash told me he’s ready to vote for three articles of impeachment: obstruction of Congress, obstruction of justice and abuse of power. He says he wants to see final language before ultimately deciding.

“I think there’s sufficient evidence for all three,” Amash said. “Impeachment is like an indictment … There’s certainly probable cause to issue charges.”

Rep. Amash was one of the few Republicans with the courage to speak out against Trump, and his courage promptly made him enemy number one in the GOP. Amash left the Republican Party and became an Independent. The great irony is that if Amash would have stayed in the GOP through impeachment, he would have been potentially the only Republican in the House to vote for impeaching Trump, and would have destroyed the narrative that impeachment is a partisan endeavor.
When the House votes to impeach Trump, it won’t just be Democrats voting for impeachment. Rep. Justin Amash will vote for impeaching this president.
