As Trump Lies About The Bidens, Jared And Ivanka Made $82 Million While Working In The White House

Trump has been ranting about Joe Biden and corruption while his daughter Ivanka and son in law Jared Kushner made $82 million in a single year while working as senior White House advisers.

The Washington Post reported in 2018:

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, the president’s daughter and son-in-law, brought in at least $82 million in outside income while serving as senior White House advisers during 2017, according to financial disclosure forms released Monday.

….

The filings show how the couple are collecting immense sums from other enterprises while serving in the White House, an extraordinary income flow that ethics experts have warned could create potential conflicts of interests.

But while Kushner divested some holdings, he and his wife have maintained large stakes in businesses with domestic and foreign ties. Kushner’s family real estate company has properties around the country, including thousands of apartment units in states including New Jersey and Maryland. Trump’s eponymous clothing and accessories line is produced exclusively in foreign factories in countries such as Bangladesh, Indonesia and China.

The next time that Trump talks about the Bidens and “corruption” keep in mind that he and his own kids have been corruptly using the presidency to make money for years. The corruption attack isn’t working because it is not true, and everyone knows that the Trumps are poised to go down in history as the most corrupt enterprise ever to be run out of the Oval Office. Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are using their positions to make millions of dollars.

If Trump wants to make corruption a central issue of the 2020 election, it is a fight that he will definitely lose, because the Trump family is the gold standard for political corruption.
