Speaker Pelosi and Chairman Schiff’s joint Wednesday press conference triggered an impeachment meltdown by President Donald Trump.
Trump tweeted:
The Do Nothing Democrats should be focused on building up our Country, not wasting everyone’s time and energy on BULLSHIT, which is what they have been doing ever since I got overwhelmingly elected in 2016, 223-306. Get a better candidate this time, you’ll need it!

Nancy Pelosi just said that she is interested in lowering prescription drug prices & working on the desperately needed USMCA. She is incapable of working on either. It is just camouflage for trying to win an election through impeachment. The Do Nothing Democrats are stuck in mud!

Adam Schiff should only be so lucky to have the brains, honor and strength of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. For a lowlife like Schiff, who completely fabricated my words and read them to Congress as though they were said by me, to demean a First in Class at West Point, is SAD!

Trump went off after Pelosi discussed some of the important legislation that the House is working on or has passed on gun violence, trade, and prescription drugs. The House has been passing bills at a rapid pace, but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell ignores them.
Trump is trying to parrot Bill Clinton’s impeachment playbook with the “do-nothing Congress” attack. The problem is that while Clinton was very effective at his job, Trump is not. Donald Trump has one major piece of legislation on his record in three years, and the tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations are so toxic that Republicans can’t run on them.
Donald Trump was triggered by Adam Schiff’s warning that Democrats aren’t playing around on impeachment.
The White House has no impeachment defense strategy. It’s just the melting down on Twitter because, for the first time in his life, he is being held accountable for his actions.
