Donald Trump dropped a racist, sexist attack on another well-known woman of color on Saturday morning by lashing out at award-winning MSNBC host Joy Reid.
In a tweet, the completely stable president pretended not to know who Reid was, then he slammed her for not having the “talent” to be a success in show business.
“Who the hell is Joy-Ann Reid?” Trump said. “Never met her, she knows ZERO about me, has NO talent, and truly doesn’t have the ‘it’ factor needed for success in showbiz.”
Who the hell is Joy-Ann Reid? Never met her, she knows ZERO about me, has NO talent, and truly doesn’t have the “it” factor needed for success in showbiz. Had a bad reputation, and now works for the Comcast/NBC losers making up phony stories about me. Low Ratings. Fake News!

It should be noted that Joy Reid is one of the most well-known and admired voices at MSNBC. She has hosted her weekend program ‘AM Joy’ on the network since 2016, and her Saturday time slot brings in nearly 1 million weekly viewers.
As PoliticusUSA’s Sarah Jones noted on Twitter, Reid worked for her success, while Trump inherited everything in his life – and he is still a massive failure, whether in business, politics or his personal life.
Joy Ann Reid has her own show based on merit and did NOT inherit her position from her father or cheat to win her job like you did, @realDonaldTrump. https://t.co/cwGyDNc2m2

Trump is intimidated by strong women of color
Donald Trump is a small, angry man who lashes out like a tired child when anyone so much as questions his greatness. But his juvenile tantrums are especially vile when he’s referring to strong, successful women of color.
That’s evident in his constant attacks on Rep. Maxine Waters, who he calls “an extraordinarily low IQ person,” and his more recent attempts to paint “the Squad” – Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib – as un-American, despite the fact that each of the congresswomen is more popular than he is in swing districts.
Ultimately, Donald Trump’s latest Saturday spewings only confirm what we’ve already known about him: He is deeply intimidated by strong women of color.
