Donald Trump Jr. twisted himself into knots while trying to distance his dad from Roy Moore and pretending like his father isn’t sleazy.

It is funny to see Trump trying to distance himself from Roy Moore when they both have so much in common. Trump has been accused of sexual assault by dozens of women. Moore has been accused of having sex with underage girls. Both men use racism and bigotry as a central part of their politics, and both have made a career out of appealing to the lowest common denominator.
Roy Moore’s rise is due to Donald Trump. Trump has set the bar so low that any white supremacist, statutory rapist, or corrupt figure can be a viable candidate in his party. Ethics, the law, and right and wrong don’t matter to this president and his party.
Roy Moore is a Trump creature and it is funny to see Donald Trump Jr. trying to flee someone who is much like his own father.
