Trump Humiliated And Denied Address To UK Parliament

Trump is so unwelcome in the UK that he was never offered an address to parliament like the one Barack Obama gave in 2011.

The UK will barely tolerate Trump’s presence

Huffington Post reported:

In a major snub to the US President, lingering hopes of him delivering a speech to MPs and peers have been dashed following defiant opposition by Commons Speaker John Bercow, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and others.

Although Barack Obama made a landmark address in Westminster Hall in 2011, Trump will not be allowed the same privilege after the visit’s organisers decided to avoid a diplomatic row over his “racism and sexism”.

Whitehall insiders revealed that the UK government had not made a formal request to the Commons speaker and Lords speaker, which is the usual protocol, to allow Trump to speak.

“We’ve not asked. It’s not going to happen,” one source said on Thursday.

Trump was denied the speech out of fear that he will cause embarrassment

Government leaders are worried that Trump will cause embarrassment for the Queen and the entire UK with his racist and sexist views. The nation’s closest ally fears giving Trump a platform to speak to their country because he can’t be trusted to address them like a civilized human being and world leader. The UK has basically taken the MSNBC approach of not giving this president any platform until his words can be vetted for lies, divisiveness, and falsehoods.

Trump is insanely jealous of Obama, and it will eat him that he has been denied something that Obama got to do.

Trump’s UK visit is already expected to be heavily protested. Trump will be arriving in Britain on June 3rd and will be leaving two days later, but unlike here in the US, the UK is taking preventive steps to contain toxic Trump.
