Jerry Nadler Tells America The Ugly Truth About William Barr

House Judiciary Committee chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler )D-NY) told the truth about Attorney General William Barr and the mainstream outlets who fell for Trump’s cover-up can’t handle it.

Here was the exchange on CBS’s Face The Nation:

MARGARET BRENNAN: So– so do you actually then reject the entire summary? Do you believe there is possible criminal collusion?

REPRESENTATIVE JERRY NADLER: Well, the attorney general said there was no– there was no obstruction of justice. He decided that. Mueller did not say that. And, by the way–

MARGARET BRENNAN: Right, and your character– and you’re dismissing what he has said.

REPRESENTATIVE JERRY NADLER: I dismiss what he said. He’s a– he’s a biased defender of the administration and he’s entitled to be a defender of the administration but he is not entitled to withhold the evidence from Congress. And, by the way, let me repeat one other thing. When you say there’s no– no when he says there’s no collusion, there may very well not have been evidence beyond a reasonable doubt–

Video:

MARGARET BRENNAN: Mm-Hm.

REPRESENTATIVE JERRY NADLER: –which is a very high judicial standard of criminal conspiracy with the Russians. But there was in plain sight open collusion with the Russians when the President’s son and campaign manager and son-in-law go to a meeting with the Russians to receive, quote, “dirt on Hillary” as part of the Russian government’s attempt to help the Trump campaign. And that was in the e-mail inviting them to the meeting.

Jerry Nadler was right.

The mainstream outlets who bought William Barr’s summary/not a summary are asking Democrats why they have doubts about the letters that William Barr has put out. Many of these questioners are the same people who ran with Trump’s total exoneration claim without checking to see what the basis for the claim was. (It turns out that there was none.)

Rep. Nadler is speaking a powerful truth to the country. The president’s hand-picked attorney general who auditioned for the job with a letter trashing the Mueller investigation. Barr is a biased political operative for the administration.

House Democrats would not be doing their jobs if they just took Barr’s word for it on the Mueller report.

Nadler is correct. Barr isn’t an honest broker, which is why every American should never take his word for it when it comes to the Mueller report.

The media got played. The same thing isn’t happening to the American people.
