Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) said that it is time for Congress to act to get the Mueller report as he had enough of Barr’s excuses and Trump‘s tweets.
Rep. Doggett said on MSNBC, “Well, I think it’s time to take action. We don’t have the 400-page Mueller report. We have the 4 page Barr report and a number of excuses and delay, brought again with his latest letter on Friday. I want to see the fall report. I think it should be turned over to the House Intelligence Committee and if he’s unwilling to make the full report available to the public, each word, page, paragraph he blackens out, we ought to get a black page. We ought to be able to see what is deleted, and the excuse he is giving for each of those deletions or redactions. The American people really can’t form a final judgment on this, until they hear more than president trump’s tweets and the excuses from the attorney general.”

The White House has shown no intention of meeting the Tuesday deadline imposed by the Democratic House committee chairmen to turn over the full Mueller report. The House and Trump are on the same collision course they have been steaming toward for months. The White House is going to ignore the April 2 deadline. Barr will issue a chopped up and redacted Mueller report. House Democrats will sue, and they will eventually get the full report.
Trump’s approval rating has already dropped as people see through Trump’s games.
Patience is running thin. House Democrats know what Trump is up to, and they aren’t going to allow him to stall and hide the Mueller report until after the 2020 election.
