Rush Limbaugh suggested that Republicans may be doomed in 2020 if Trump keeps attacking Obamacare.
Limbaugh said on Fox News, “I understand that it is an issue that the Democrat (sic) Party has owned,” Limbaugh said. “I know the president would love to take it away from them and have it be something that the American people rely on the Republican Party for, but it needs to be done right, and it needs to reemphasize the private sector and the free market…I wish that we would just focus on immigration. We don’t know how much time we are going to have to do this.”

Trying to get rid of Obamacare was the dumbest thing that Trump could do in the middle of the Republican Party’s propaganda effort to bury the Mueller. Trump gave Democrats a gift, and a giant club to beat Republicans over the head with for the next two months. Limbaugh knows that this is a terrible idea. Republicans will never be able to get an Obamacare replacement bill through Congress, so if the ACA is thrown out by the courts, Republicans will own the higher premiums for hundreds of thousands of Americans, and the 20 million people who will immediately lose their coverage.
Republicans were crushed in the 2018 midterms because of healthcare, and if Trump pushes this issue in 2020, it could be an even bigger bloodbath for the GOP.
