It is now clear to see why Trump and the White House were so terrified of Michael Cohen’s public testimony. Cohen is destroying Trump.
Cohen hit Trump for everything, including threatening the schools that he went to not to release his grades, “When I say conman, I’m talking about a man who declares himself brilliant but directed me to threaten his high school, his colleges, and the college board to never release his grades or S.A.T. Scores. As I mentioned, I’m giving the committee today copies of a letter I sent at Mr. Trump’s direction threatening these schools with civil and criminal actions if Mr. Trump’s grades or S.A.T. Scores were ever disclosed without his permission.”

Cohen said, “I am ashamed because I know what Mr. Trump is. He is a racist. He is a conman. He is a cheat. He was a presidential candidate who knew that Roger stone was talking with Julian Assange about a Wikileaks drop on Democratic National Committee e-mails.”
Cohen said that he has no direct knowledge of Trump/Russia collusion, but the picture he is painting of Trump is one of a fundamentally corrupt man who does not care about the nation doesn’t want to be president and is only interested in being in the White House to market and enrich himself.
Michael Cohen is going beyond the lies of the president and revealing a man who was fundamentally criminal and corrupt. Republicans are using the hearing to try to discredit Cohen, but early on they have met with no success. The Republican desperation is clear because they can see that Cohen can provide information that could their president impeached, but what is going to drive Trump up the wall is that Michael Cohen is destroying a mythology that the president spent decades to build.
Trump isn’t smart, successful, or a great businessman. Trump is a fraud, and Michael Cohen is exposing the con.
