Trump Is Playing Golf Hours After Declaring America Is Under Attack By Immigrants

Less than a day after Donald Trump declared a fake national emergency to fund his vanity wall on the southern border, he is at his golf course in Florida.

According to MSNBC producer Kyle Griffin, the president arrived at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach on Saturday morning.

As Griffin pointed out, this is Trump’s 169th day at one of his golf courses and 224th day at one of his properties over the course of his 758 days in office.

Trump’s leisurely stop at his golf course comes after he officially declared an emergency by claiming the United States is currently being invaded by immigrants on the southern border.

Trump is admitting that his emergency is a con

Through his words and actions, Donald Trump has already admitted that his declaration is a massive con. When deciding whether the national emergency is valid, all the courts have to do is pay attention to the man who declared it.

During his announcement on Friday, Trump sad flatly, “I didn’t need to do this, but I’d rather do it much faster.”

In other words, Trump is admitting that this isn’t an emergency. He’s just illegally using the declaration as a way to achieve something he was unable to achieve through Congress.

And as I wrote earlier in the week, Trump has been floating the idea of declaring a national emergency for more than a month. If you can spend weeks and weeks teasing the idea of a national emergency, chances are it isn’t really an emergency.

Trump’s Saturday morning golf outing – hours after he said the U.S. was facing an invasion – further demonstrated that this national emergency is nothing but a farce.
