Many legal experts are saying that new evidence — including the lengthy indictment of Roger Stone — shows that special counsel Robert Mueller is planning to soon indict more co-conspirators in the Trump-Russia conspiracy.
For example, former CIA Director John Brennan was on MSNBC and predicted new bombshell indictments coming from Mueller in the near future. Brennan was in charge of the CIA during the 2016 presidential election and transition period and had unique access to intelligence information on the Trump-Russia conspiracy.
MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell asked Brennan about a tweet by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, wondering what Russian President Vladimir Putin may “have” on Trump. After Stone’s indictment Pelosi tweeted:
What does Putin have on @realDonaldTrump, politically, personally or financially?

O’Donnell then asked the former CIA director:
“Do you think this country’s going to find out if there is something that Putin has on Donald Trump politically, personally and financially?”
And Brennan answered him by saying:
“Well, I certainly hope so, and I believe that Bob Mueller has been masterful in terms of how he has pulled together these indictments.”
“I think we have to think about it as a multi-act play, and I do think we are coming closer to the final act, where he is building up to the indictments that are going to be, I think, the most profound, and the ones that are going to tie it together.”
O’Donnell then asked him:
“You referred to the next series of indictments, why do you believe there will be a next series of indictments?”
Brennan replied by saying:
“I do think that Robert Mueller is going to try to bring this to some type of closure in the coming months, and I would find it very hard to believe that other indictments are not going to come down, again, based on my reading of all the details in those indictments.”
Last week Brennan said that he thinks Mueller could possibly be planning to obtain new indictments against Donald Trump’s children.
And Brennan is not the only one who believes there will soon be more indictments obtained by the special counsel.
Investigative journalist Seth Hettena, author of Trump/Russia: A Definitive History, tweeted:
“More from the Roger Stone docket: Stone’s case is related to the indictment of 12 GRU officers for hacking the Clinton campaign. This suggests that additional charges may be filed against Stone.”

Hettena sets forth his argument in a fascinating new article just published in Rolling Stone Magazine. In the article, he states that:
“An overlooked note stamped to Stone’s indictment may suggest that the former Trump adviser’s case is broader than we think.”
Brennan and Hettena are not the only experts who think that Mueller will soon obtain many more indictments in the Trump-Russia criminal conspiracy. While some people believe Mueller’s investigation is nearly over, many others believe that he has a long way still to go, and before he’s done he may bring criminal charges against the president and his family.
