The FBI Is Investigating Trump For Working For Russia

The FBI has been investigating Trump during his presidency for either working on behalf of or being compromised by the Russians.

The New York Times reported:

In the days after President Trump fired James B. Comey as F.B.I. director, law enforcement officials became so concerned by the president’s behavior that they began investigating whether he had been working on behalf of Russia against American interests, according to former law enforcement officials and others familiar with the investigation.

The inquiry carried explosive implications. Counterintelligence investigators had to consider whether the president’s own actions constituted a possible threat to national security. Agents also sought to determine whether Mr. Trump was knowingly working for Russia or had unwittingly fallen under Moscow’s influence.

The FBI grew suspicious of Trump due to the letter that he had Rod Rosenstein write that gave the Russia investigation as a reason for the firing of James Comey. The FBI began its investigation after Trump told Lester Holt that he fired Comey over the Russia investigation, and after Trump had Russians inside the Oval Office and bragged to them about making the investigation go away by firing Comey.

Trump is being investigated for working for Russia

There is no other way to describe it. The FBI had enough concern that Trump was compromised that they began an investigation into the President Of The United States. In this context, Trump’s war on the FBI and the DOJ makes sense. Trump is trying to discredit the FBI because they are investigating whether or not he is Putin’s puppet.

If an investigation concludes that Trump is working for the Russians, he must be impeached and removed from office. Federal law enforcement is concerned that Donald Trump is a threat to national security.

Mueller is the least of Trump’s problems as questions about the president’s relationship with Russia have knocked the wall and the shutdown off of the front page.
