Trump Mocks Warren: ‘Ask Her Psychiatrist’ If She Thinks She Can Win

According to Donald Trump, Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) may be running for the presidency in 2020, but only her psychiatrist would know whether she really believes she can win.

The president called into Fox News on New Year’s Eve for a Q&A with anchor Pete Hegseth, and he wasted no time in bashing Warren shortly after she announced the creation of an exploratory committee, which is the first step in her campaign for the presidency.

Speaking about his chances against Warren, Trump said:

“Well, I’m happy about it. I think she’ll be wonderful. I hope she maybe gets the nomination. That would be a wonderful thing for me.”

The implication of course being that he thinks she would be easy to beat.

Hegseth then asked Trump if he thinks Warren believes she can actually win a presidential contest. Trump said he didn’t know, but then added, “You’d have to ask her psychiatrist.”

During the interview Trump continued to express his delusional views that he already has a second presidential term locked up and in the bag. He also claimed that Democrats believe he does also.

“I think based on record I’m going to win also,” Trump said. “I think we’re going to win big.”

To back up his opinion, he cited the fact that he had strengthened U.S. military resources and reduced the unemployment rate, saying:

“When you look at all of the things we’ve done for building up our military and all of the things, I don’t think if you go just based on the record, I don’t see how anybody wins. We’ve done a lot.”

Yesterday Senator Warren posted a video online saying that she was planning a 2020 run for the presidency. In the video she said:

“Every person in America should be able to work hard, play by the same set of rules, & take care of themselves & the people they love. That’s what I’m fighting for, & that’s why I’m launching an exploratory committee for president. I need you with me.”
