House Democrat Says Mueller Has Trump Dead To Rights On Russia

Rep. Steve Cohen, a member of the powerful House Judiciary Committee, said on Saturday that Trump has already committed multiple impeachable offenses – from coercing witnesses to obstructing justice – and Robert Mueller likely has him “dead to rights on Russia.”

The Democratic congressman made the case for Trump’s impeachment based on the actions he’s already taken and said that Mueller’s pending report will likely put the icing on the cake that the president is a criminal .

“This is the most impeachable president ever,” Cohen said. “I think there is no question that Mueller has him dead to rights on Russia.”

Cohen said:

This is the most impeachable president ever, and the facts need to come out to show the American public that he has committed impeachable offenses. I think what he’s done in trying to coerce witnesses or influence witnesses with his tweets, if he makes any pardons that would be considered possibly obstruction of justice, and I think there is no question that Mueller has him dead to rights on Russia.

Trump is the only man that thinks Mueller’s filings have cleared him

Even as Robert Mueller’s bombshell court filings confirmed the likelihood that Trump committed crimes to win the presidency, Trump took to Twitter to declare that he has been “totally” cleared.

In a later tweet, the president wrote in all caps that there was “NO COLLUSION!”

But of course, the court filings submitted by Mueller’s team contradict Trump’s declarations of innocence.

Not only did investigators say that Trump directed his personal attorney Michael Cohen to commit crimes to influence the election, but the same court filings implicate the president in a conspiracy with Russia.

Other than his puppets on Fox News, nobody believes Trump’s legal position improved over the past week. It has, in fact, become much worse.
