Nicolle Wallace Debunks Trump’s Tweets Before Showing Them

Trump’s tweets are so false that MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace debunked them before placing them on the screen and discussing Trump’s statements.

Nicolle Wallace said on her show Deadline: White House:

As most Americans started the day today counting points or steps or carbs, Donald Trump started his day by counting the hundreds of former campaign staffers who haven’t been interviewed by special counsel Robert Mueller. And a pair of tweets so detached from reality that will debunk them before we put them on the screen. The president falsely claimed that Robert Mueller has conflicts of interest, oddly cited campaign staffers who want to be called to testify by before the special counsel and churlishly repeated his demand that they investigate Democrats.

“When Mueller does his final report, will he be covering all of his conflicts of interest in a preamble?
Will he be recommending action on all of the crimes of many kinds from those on the other side? Whatever happened to Podesta? And will he be putting in statements from hundreds of people closely involved with my campaign who never met, saw or spoke to a Russian during this so many campaign workers, people inside from the beginning. Ask me why they have not been called. They want to be. There was no collusion and Mueller knows is.”

Now the president is counting the number of staffers who did not have contact with Russians during the campaign. A political first, no doubt.

Nicolle Wallace Throttled Trump’s Propaganda

The best way to take the zip out of Trump’s propaganda and lies is to preemptively debunk them. Wallace didn’t show the tweet and then debunk, because doing so would have given Trump the platform to spread his lies. Instead, she told the viewer in advance that what she was about to quote was false and detached from reality.

Trump’s approval rating is stagnant because the press isn’t giving him an open platform to lie . The lies are being warned of and the American people are alerted to them before Trump can put them out there.

The preemptive debunking of Trump’s twitter lies is the next step is putting facts ahead of White House lies.
