Prosecutors have evidence that Donald Trump was involved in every step of the felony criminal cover-up of his affair with Stormy Daniels.

The Wall Street Journal reported:

The Wall Street Journal found that Mr. Trump was involved in or briefed on nearly every step of the agreements. He directed deals in phone calls and meetings with his self-described fixer, Michael Cohen, and others. The U.S. attorney’s office in Manhattan has gathered evidence of Mr. Trump’s participation in the transactions.

When Mr. Cohen pleaded guilty that month to campaign-finance violations, prosecutors filed a 22-page charging document asserting that Mr. Cohen “coordinated with one or more members of the campaign, including through meetings and phone calls, about the fact, nature, and timing of the payments.”

The unnamed campaign member or members referred to Mr. Trump, according to people familiar with the document.

Forget Mueller, Trump Has An Even Bigger Problem

Robert Mueller and the Russia investigation is an ongoing obsession for Trump, but the president’s bigger issue is the Stormy Daniels related felonies that Trump linked to. Trump ran the cover-up operation to hide his affair with Daniels during the 2016 campaign. The president made the deal that violated campaign finance law and also was federal fraud felonies.

No one knows what evidence Robert Mueller has collected in the Russia investigation against Donald Trump, but much more is known about the Michael Cohen case. Trump is wide open to a variety of state charges that can’t be self-pardoned away or restricted by his status as president.

The White House has always been more concerned about the Michael Cohen case because there is clear and direct evidence of Trump criminal behavior that is grounds for impeachment.

Many Americans thought that Trump would be impeached for crimes related to the Russia scandal, but it might be Stormy Daniels, not Vladimir Putin who sends this president packing.
