Those who tried to send a bomb to Hillary Clinton didn’t scare her. She used the terrorism to urge voters to elect candidates who will bring the country together.
While campaigning for Democrats in Florida, Clinton said, “You know, before I — I begin, I want to say a few — it is a troubling time, isn’t it? And it’s a time of deep divisions, and we have to do everything we can to bring our country together. We also have to elect candidates who will try to do the same. Who will set goals that will lift up every single Floridian and American? Usually, when people ask me how am I doing, which happens quite often, I say, well, as a person I’m great. As an American, I’m worried.”

The perfect response to the person or people who are spreading this act of terror is not to be scared or fearful, but electing people who are the opposite of what they are championing. Elect people who will bring the country together, not tear it apart. Elect people who will promote our similarities, not try to exploit our differences.
The actions of whoever is doing this are desperate. They are losing. Even with Trump in the White House and Republicans in control of Congress, America is still becoming more diverse, and the nation is moving forward. They are trying to scare you away from what is yours. Your government, your vote, your future.
Reject the politics of tearing down, and embrace the progress that Trump, Republicans, and even MAGA bombers can’t stop.
The future is coming, and no number of pipe bombs can stop its arrival.
