So I’ve been hearing that now they’re thinking about impeaching a brilliant jurist, a man that did I don’t go wrong, a man that was caught up in a hoax that was set up by the Democrats using the Democrats’ lawyers, and now they want to impeach him. I’ve heard this from many people. I think it’s an insult to the American public. And I think you’re going to see a lot of things happen on November 6th that would not have happened before.
The American public has seen this charade, has seen this dishonesty by the Democrats. When you mention impeaching a justice of the United States supreme court who was the top scholar, top student, top intellect, and who did nothing wrong, and there was no corroboration of any kind, and went through seven FBI investigations, had nothing to do with any of this stuff. I mean, you had the last one, take a look at the last one. The things they said about him, I don’t even think he ever heard of the words. It was all made up. It was fabricated. And it’s a disgrace. And I think it’s going to really show you something come November 6th.
Trump is trying to use Kavanaugh to keep Republican voters engaged for the midterm election. The ploy will backfire because Trump just enraged voters across the country by claiming that sexual assault allegations are a hoax. For Donald Trump, sexual assault is in the same category as proven Russian attacks on a presidential election. Instead of running getting Kavanaugh confirmed, Trump is adding fuel to the fire of voters who believe sexual assault victims with his comments. Trump is dooming his party each time that he opens his mouth.
Just as former Senate candidate Todd Akin’s “legitimate rape comments” forced Republican candidates across the country to answer questions about whether they also believe in legitimate rape, Trump’s comments are going to cause a lot of misery for Republicans on the campaign trail. In one swoop, Trump made the midterm election about himself again. Democrats still have the momentum heading into Election Day, and the more Trump talks, the more seats Democrats win.
