“Of course there is never any excuse to rape someone. But it’s possible to have two seemingly contradictory thoughts to be both equally true. There’s never any excuse to rape, a crime that I think is almost akin to murder because the rapist kills a part of the human soul. And yet what women wear and their body language also send signals about their sexuality,” Daily Caller writer and Georgetown Preparatory School Kavanaugh classmate Mark Judge wrote in Acculturated.
Judge is also pretty handy at moving the goal posts, as he claims that progressives send mixed messages and he resent being expected to read a turned shoulder or else it’s rape. He also resents being seen, apparently, as a “shaming patriarchal frat boy jerk.” His words, not mine. (I did, however, attend prep school and I’m pretty sure I know the kind of young man he was accused of being.)
“Sexual ‘progressives’ have to make up their minds. As it stands now, they hold that if a heterosexual man is going to approach a strange woman, he damn well better have his social and psychic antennae tuned in the right frequencies of her movements. No eye contact? A turned shoulder? Leave it alone, bro. To do otherwise is to violate the privacy, personal space, perhaps even very essence of the woman. And yet women assuming all kinds of degrading positions in pornography – having been sold on the idea that it’s ’empowering’ – or taking to the streets in their bras has no spiritual or psychological meaning whatsoever. And anyone who claims otherwise is a shaming patriarchal frat boy jerk. Which is it?”
I’m just going to go out on a limb here and say pushing someone into a room, turning the music up so no one can hear her, putting your hands over her mouth while she screams and tearing her clothes off while the two of you pile on top of her is a bit more obvious than say a turned shoulder.
This is the guy who has written “extensively about the booze-filled partying at their elite all-boys Catholic prep school during the 1980s.”
Judge is also the witness to the alleged attempted rape described so chillingly by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. The attempted rape where this guy, Mark Judge, not only helped his buddy but sometimes jumped on him while he was on Ford and sometimes egged him on both of them laughing “maniacally,” while at other times Judge actually told Kavanaugh to stop.
Judge has denied that Kavanaugh assaulted Dr. Blasey Ford and presumably that he helped Kavanaugh do so. Judge says he never saw Brett act this way.
The Cut pointed to the above piece Judge wrote in 2017, noting, “… Women who dress like prostitutes are also sending out signals,” he wrote. “The signal is not that they should be raped. But if a posture while drinking coffee is indicative of the soul and personality within, than so is marching down the street in your underwear.”
Judge called Obama the “first female president” because his wife had power. Judge wrote in the Daily Caller </a, “Oh for the days when president George W. Bush gave his wife Laura a loving but firm pat on the backside in public. The man knew who was boss.”
You see, Judge was concerned about Obama‘s grades (try not to laugh as he defends Donald Trump) and he equates laziness with being a woman, listing lack of discipline as a reason Obama is a woman, “Discipline. “There is a deep down, underneath all the work I do, I think there’s a laziness in me,” Obama told Barbara Walters in 2011. We still don’t know what grades Obama got at Columbia.”
We still don’t have Donald Trump‘s tax returns or actual medical records, but we do know that he was a poor student and used the excuse of “bone spurs” to get out of military service, which pretty much meets all of Judge’s requires for being a woman, which is obviously a horrible thing to be.
This is the guy Republicans are going to use in their vicious smear campaign of Dr. Blasey Ford. This is the guy whose accounting of this alleged violent crime is going to be used to bludgeon a woman who didn’t want to come forward in the first place, but after being hounded by the press, realized she had already been outed.
Republicans are only calling two witnesses to their sham, one day hearing, and now you know why. Mark Judge will not be called.
The witness to the crime will not be called to the hearing. Thus it is not a real hearing.
No person wants their life ruined. It’s costly business to come forward knowing you’re going to be lied about, as Republicans have already lied about Ford. Mark Judge is not a credible witness, his own words tell us this.
Republicans should refer this matter to the FBI to investigate as part of a background vetting on Kavanaugh for his lifetime appointment. Their failure to do so is telling.
