Omarosa: Trump N-Word Tape Will Most Likely Drop Before The Midterm Elections

A tape that has Donald Trump repeatedly using the N-word will most likely drop before November, Omarosa Manigault Newman said on Monday.

In an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, the former White House aide said she has heard the tape and believes it will be used for an “October surprise.”

“I believe that they’re using it for politically motivated things,” Manigault Newman said.

The exchange between Matthews and Omarosa:

MATTHEWS: The person who has the tape, a copy of it, is planning to use it at some point?

OMAROSA: Yes. In fact, I believe that they’re using it for politically motivated things.

MATTHEWS: Before November?

OMAROSA: Before November. Another October surprise.

MATTHEWS: Are they Democrats?

OMAROSA: I don’t know what their political affiliation is. … They used to be a part of the production staff for “The Apprentice.” And they saw it — took it on themselves to actually document this so that they could actually expose him for the racist that he is.

MATTHEWS: They have a copy you said of the tape?

OMAROSA: They do, of the audio.

MATTHEWS: When you listen to the parts you heard, how many times did you hear Mr. Trump, your former boss, how many times did you hear him use the N word?

OMAROSA: Multiple times.

MATTHEWS: Five or ten? It was three minutes.

OMAROSA: Multiple times.

Would it even matter if the tape was released?

While the release of a tape containing the President of the United States spewing racial slurs would be a huge development, it’s unclear what it would do to change the political environment in America.

On two fronts, such a recording might be meaningless.

First, it would only confirm what most Americans already knew about Trump: He’s a flat-out racist. He has repeatedly demonstrated that, whether in his business or political career. The voters who understand this fact wouldn’t be surprised to see it confirmed on tape.

Second, for those who still support the president, they are likely to be unfazed by Trump spewing bigotry. Many would probably share his racism and privately applaud it. Keep in mind, these are the same people who were unmoved when the Access Hollywood tape surfaced, and they had no problem with Trump saying that there were “some very fine people” participating in a white supremacist march in Charlottesville.

What the potential release of such a bombshell tape could do is further energize a Democratic base that is already eager to drown the capital in a blue wave this fall.

It’s why Donald Trump and his team are working overtime to prevent the release of more tapes.
