New Bombshell Report is “Strongest Evidence Yet” of Trump’s Obstruction of Justice

In a new report by a respected investigative journalist, the New York Review of Books is claiming that special counsel Robert Mueller has in his possession pieces of highly incriminating documentary evidence that will clearly implicate President Donald Trump in criminal obstruction of justice.

The Review tweeted this early morning a link to the bombshell piece of writing from Murray Waas:

“Trump knew that Michael Flynn was under criminal investigation when he asked James Comey to “see your way clear to letting this go.” Murray Waas has seen the White House memo, which implicates the president in an obstruction of justice”

Waas writes in the article that the evidence he has in possession has never been disclosed to the public before. He reveals only that his sources are highly placed individuals and the evidence he has includes “highly confidential White House records and testimony by some of President Trump’s own top aides.”

According to Waas, what he has is “some of the strongest evidence to date implicating the president of the United States in an obstruction of justice.”

He also says that sources who had the opportunity to review the evidence now believe because it is so compelling “it is now all but inevitable that Mueller will deliver a report to the United States Department of Justice that will make a case that the president broke the law.”

We have been writing for months that there is strong evidence for an obstruction of justice case against the president. In June, Mueller even indicted Paul Manafort on obstruction charges to send a message to the president. Leading GOP senators have confirmed that the president can be guilty of criminal obstruction of justice.

In May, we reported on the existence of a secret FBI memo that makes a case that Trump was guilty of obstruction. We’ve also reported that Donald Trump is terrified of being found guilty of obstruction of justice, so this new report is sure to cause him to lose sleep as well as write even more insane tweets.

The central piece of evidence in the new article concerns fired former FBI Director James Comey’s assertion that the president asked him to drop the FBI’s case into former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who has since pleaded guilty.

Trump fired Flynn in early 2017 after he lied to the FBI about his meetings with Russian ambassador to the United States Sergey Kislyak during the presidential transition after the 2016 election but before Trump took office.

Trump’s attorneys have argued that he believed General Flynn was already “in the clear” when the president requested that Comey drop the case.

The sources relied upon by Waas, however, make clear that “previously undisclosed evidence indicates just the opposite — that President Trump was fully informed that Flynn was the target of prosecutors.”

Waas maintains in his story that “a confidential White House memorandum” written shortly before Trump made his request to Comey indicates that Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and White House Counsel Don McGahn both told Trump that Flynn was under criminal investigation at the time, so pleading ignorance is not going to absolve him of his guilt in trying to get Comey to drop the case.

Donald Trump is guilty of so many crimes it is easy to lose track of them all. And this new piece makes clear that Trump not only obstructed justice but also that he was trying to cover up some things that will prove he is guilty of even more crimes.

Donald Trump is panicking as Robert Mueller’s footsteps grow louder, because he knows they are coming to take him away.
