One Of Trump’s Biggest Defenders In The House Is Caught In A Jerry Sandusky Style Scandal At Ohio State

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), one of Trump biggest defenders who is trying to undermine the Russia investigation in the House, is accused of turning a blind eye to sexual abuse when he was a wrestling coach at Ohio State.

NBC News reported:

Three former wrestlers told NBC News that it was common knowledge that Strauss showered regularly with the students and inappropriately touched them during appointments, and said it would have been impossible for Jordan to be unaware; one wrestler said he told Jordan directly about the abuse.

Former head coach Russ Hellickson, Jordan’s mentor, said in a recent video — made by Mike DiSabato, a former wrestler — that Hellickson had told Strauss that he was being too “hands on” with students.

DiSabato, whose allegations against Strauss prompted Ohio State to open its investigation, called Jordan a “liar.”

Rep. Jordan says he never saw or heard of any abuse:

The people who knew about Larry Nassar’s abuse of gymnasts and Michigan State athletes, just like those who covered up Jerry Sandusky’s abuse of children at Penn State, committed crimes. If Rep. Jordan knew that wrestlers at Ohio State were being sexually abused and did nothing, he is at some level liable for the abuse the victims endured.

Jordan has been a vocal defender of Trump, and members of the House who has actively worked to undermine the Russia investigation . Jordan can frequently be seen on cable news defending Trump, claiming that Hillary Clinton committed crimes, and calling the Russia investigation a witch hunt.

Who could have guessed that a congressman who would defend one of the most corrupt and unethical presidents in history, would turn a blind eye to sexual abuse? (Sarcasm intended).

It is Jim Jordan’s word against several witnesses, and if they are telling the truth, Jordan’s political career should be finished.

A man who called for Hillary Clinton to be locked up deserves nothing less than to lose everything if he turned a blind eye to sexual abuse.
