The official line is that the detention center was flooded, but locals report that they knew it was flooded yesterday, so it’s odd on a trip to see children who have been traumatized by her husband’s policy of separating children from their parents that she would take all of the photos at a shelter that houses mostly children who arrived as unaccompanied minors, according to a “senior administration official” in a pool report sent to PoliticusUSA.

The visit to the shelter provided the press and the propaganda outlets plenty of pretty pictures to use to sell the idea that “liberals” are blowing this crisis out of proportion and these kids are actually fine. That is false. These images are not of a detention center. The press is not being allowed to photograph detention centers.
The jacket Melania wore to troll the press worked, and Fox News is pretending that it’s awful that everyone is focused on her jacket instead of her good work. The jacket also sent Trump’s base the real message that Melania and her husband do not care, as there is no other feasible reason the woman who wears designer clothes would be caught in a Zara jacket that cost under $40.00 that she just so happened to wear when photographs would be taken from behind.
