Scott Pruitt Spent $3.5 Million Of Your Money On Personal Security In A Year

The poster boy for Trump cabinet corruption, EPA administrator Scott Pruitt, spend $3.5 of your money on personal security in a single year.

CBS News reported, “Taxpayers spent about $3.5 million on security for Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt during his first year in office, according to records released by the agency Friday. That total includes $2.7 million on salary and overtime and more than $750,000 in travel costs. Compared with his predecessors, Pruitt’s security costs are significantly higher. Between 2009 and 2016, spending ranged from $1.6 million to $2 million annually for the two previous administrators’ security. Patrick Sullivan, the EPA’s Assistant Inspector General for Investigations, claimed that Pruitt faced significant more threats than the previous administrator, Gina McCarthy.”

Taxpayers are spending three-quarters of a million dollars on transportation for Pruitt’s personal security. The fact that Pruitt the security costs for the EPA has not caused anyone in the Trump White House to blink an eye, because the corruption and graft go the whole way to the Oval Office in this administration.

The next time that Republicans claim that there is no money available for children to have health insurance, or hungry to have food or seniors to live in dignity, remember Scott Pruitt and his $3.5 million security bill.

The Trump administration is corrupt to the core, as cabinet officials are robbing the taxpayers blind while giving nothing to those who they are supposed to be serving.

Donald Trump isn’t running an administration. Trump is running skimming operation that is allowing everyone who works for him to line their pockets with your money.
