Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) wrote a letter to Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) asking that Donald Trump Jr. be compelled to reappear because of false testimony that he gave to Congress.
In his letter to Grassley, Coons wrote:
Coons also tweeted:
Based on new information we learned this week, I’m very concerned that Donald Trump Jr. provided false testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
I’m asking the Committee Chairman to bring Trump Jr. back in to testify-in public this time. Here’s the letter I sent yesterday pic.twitter.com/QRzxOkyZtV

Lying to Congress might be the least of Donald Trump Jr.’s problems. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) recently pointed out that Trump’s son could be a target in the Russia investigation. Donald Trump Jr. along with Trump son in law Jared Kushner appear to be in a world of legal hurt.
Sen. Coons was correct. Trump Jr. should be called back in to testify in open committee, which would make the testimony of the president’s son a public hearing which is something that the Trumps most definitely do not want to happen.
Donald Trump Jr. is in big trouble and the call to get him into an open hearing is a preview of what is coming if Democrats win back Congress in November.
Trump world is falling apart, and Democrats will be an investigative sledgehammer if they are in charge of the investigation beginning in January 2019.
