The White House has been caught writing many of Trump’s tweets for him, as his staff intentionally puts typos and grammatical errors in his tweets to make them look authentic.
The Boston Globe reported:
But it’s not always Trump tapping out a Tweet, even when it sounds like his voice. West Wing employees who draft proposed tweets intentionally employ suspect grammar and staccato syntax in order to mimic the president’s style, according to two people familiar with the process.
….
Presidential speechwriters have always sought to channel their bosses’ style and cadence, but Trump’s team is blazing new ground with its approach to his favorite means of instant communication. Some staff members even relish the scoldings Trump gets from elites shocked by the Trumpian language they strive to imitate, believing that debates over presidential typos fortify the belief within his base that he has the common touch.
It isn’t just the obvious tweets that are written by staff. Tweets with videos, links, or hashtags definitely are not from Trump. It is the tweets that contain intentional spelling errors or typos that are also faked. Trump is so out of touch with regular people that he needs a staff to fake a common touch. There is nothing real or truthful about Trump and his White House. The best way to figure out if a Trump tweet is real or not is to ignore spelling and grammar but look at the thought process. Any tweet that is remotely logical or has a point probably didn’t come from Trump. A tweet that rants about a conspiracy, or comes in a burst of 5 to 7 tweets is probably from Trump. Trump is bulk tweeter who goes off on rants, but the best way to figure out if a tweet is real or not is to check Trump’s schedule. If the tweet came in the middle of the night or during Fox and Friends, the odds of it being real are higher.
Nothing about Trump is real. Many of tweets are faked and constructed by a team of White House staffers.
Given the fact that many of the tweets are fake, there is even less of a reason for the press to cover them. It turns out that one of the biggest sources of fake news in America is Donald Trump’s Twitter account.
