Michael Avenatti, attorney for Stormy Daniels, has a two-word rebuttal for those with the nerve to criticize his television appearances: Rudy Giuliani.
In an appearance on MSNBC on Saturday morning, Avenatti said if there is anyone who has turned Trump’s legal battle with Stormy Daniels into a circus, it’s Giuliani, who implodes every time he steps in front of a camera.
“You want to talk about a carnival or circus atmosphere,” Avenatti said. “Rudy Giuliani is the ultimate circus act at this point.”

The lawyer for Stormy Daniels teed off on Giuliani:
You have Rudy Giuliani. You know, you want to talk about a carnival or circus atmosphere. I mean, Rudy Giuliani is the ultimate circus act at this point. Guy doesn’t know the facts. He goes on television. Says all kinds of things. When he’s confronted with his past statements – i.e in the video clip you just showed – he’s interrupting, he’s trying to dodge the questions. He doesn’t know what to do. And I have a simple question: the President of the United States when he was running, Donald Trump, he promised the American people that he was going to surround himself with the best and the brightest. We heard that repeatedly. Rudy Giuliani is hardly the best and the brightest. I mean, he is one of the worst TV — one of the worst attorneys that could appear on television on behalf of [a client] right now. He’s an embarrassment. And I can’t believe the President of the United States – this is the best he can get to represent his interest? It’s an absolute joke.
Rudy Giuliani needs lessons from Michael Avenatti
Many – particularly those who support Donald Trump – have criticized Michael Avenatti for appearing on cable news so often, but they’re likely just sore that the president’s attorney isn’t nearly as effective as Avenatti has been.
For one, the lawyer for Stormy Daniels is at the top of his game, while Rudy Giuliani doesn’t have any gas left in the tank – if he ever had any at all.
Second, while Giuliani incoherently leaps from one story to the next – sometimes during the same interview – Avenatti has stuck the same script, the truth, throughout this case.
Ultimately, if Rudy Giuliani was recruited by the Trump team to combat Michael Avenatti on the airwaves, he’s failing miserably.
