Trump held another unnecessary rally on Saturday and, as expected, his speech consisted of attacks against the press and people he’s got problems with. One of these people was Democratic Sen. Jon Tester of Montana, who accused Navy Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson, Trump’s nominee for the Veterans Affairs secretary position, of misconduct during his time as a White House physician.
The allegations include drunkenly crashing a government vehicle after a party for the Secret Service, and on another occasion having banged so loudly on the hotel room door of one of his female staffers that the Secret Service had to stop him in order to prevent waking then-President Obama. The Secret Service did later deny that the latter incident had happened.
The accusations are based on claims that Tester’s staff reportedly obtained from 20 people.
Jackson has withdrawn his nomination.

Trump is apparently so angry about the situation that he not-so-subtly threatened to ruin Tester’s chances at winning another election as he spoke at his rally.
“Tester started throwing out things that he’s heard,” he told the crowd in Michigan. “Well I know things about Tester that I could say too. And if I said them, he’d never be elected again.”
He added, “What Jon Tester did to this man is a disgrace.”
The message is clearly meant to be received as a warning by Tester.
