The Democratic Party set a trap for Trump and he fell right into it by responding to the Democrats’ lawsuit against his campaign by threatening to sue the Democratic Party for Hillary Clinton’s emails.
Trump tweeted:
Just heard the Campaign was sued by the Obstructionist Democrats. This can be good news in that we will now counter for the DNC Server that they refused to give to the FBI, the Wendy Wasserman Schultz Servers and Documents held by the Pakistani mystery man and Clinton Emails.

Wendy Wasserman Schultz is apparently former DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s long lost twin sister. Trump doesn’t need to sue for Hillary Clinton’s emails. The State Department already has them, and the rest of the tweet was just conspiracy theory gibberish that Trump learned from watching Fox News.
Earlier on Friday, I wrote that the Democratic lawsuit was a trap for Trump, and that, “After Trump gets off the golf course today, he will start tweeting, and will not be smart enough to leave this alone.”
Trump walked right into it. If he wants to get in a lawsuit battle with the Democratic Party, I’m sure that the DNC has a ton of questions about Trump’s finances and ties to Russia that they would love to get answers to during the discovery process.
Donald Trump isn’t going to counter sue. He is putting on a show for Twitter. In reality, Trump will quietly try to get the case thrown out of court, and if he fails, it will just be one more lawsuit dragging down his presidency.
